Content Creator 2026 — please review the full terms before you submit your application.

1. Participation requirements
  • Be a Junior Achievement Alumni from the Americas region (any country of the network).
  • Have participated in the Junior Achievement Company Program (La Compañía) in previous years.
  • Be between 18 and 23 years old.
  • Not have been a Content Creator before.
  • Have an active Instagram account with at least 1,000 followers.
  • Be fluent in English (Spanish and Portuguese are a plus).
  • Have a valid passport and visa (if applicable) to travel to Ecuador.
  • Own your equipment for live streaming: an HD smartphone and a recording microphone.
2. How to participate
  • Post a 1-minute (max) video with audio editing and subtitles, choosing one of these two options:
    • Share your most significant anecdote, experience, or learning during the Junior Achievement Company Program (La Compañía).
    • Tell us why you want to be the next Content Creator.
  • Upload your video and fill out the application form until October 2, 2026 at ja-companyprogram.org/content-creator-2026 (personal data, video link and main question).
  • Follow Junior Achievement Americas on Instagram and TikTok.
3. Selected Content Creator — tasks and duties

Before the event

  • From October 12, 2026, the selected creator will work with the communications team on the Company of the Year 2026 coverage and dissemination plan.
  • Will create content for Junior Achievement Americas' social media accounts (Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok).
  • This will include 3 to 5 publications (stories, posts, interviews, live videos, etc.) that promote the competition.
  • Content should encourage followers to engage with Junior Achievement Americas and tag @jaamericas.
  • Sign the informed consent form required for participation in the activity.

During the event (Ecuador, November 22–25, 2026)

  • Post a minimum of 3 stories per day and at least 2 posts on Junior Achievement Americas accounts during the event.
  • Content should cover event highlights, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments to engage the audience.
  • Participate in selected team meetings during the event.

After the event

  • Generate a series of interviews, lives, or ping-pongs with the winners.
  • Capture testimonials from participants.
  • Work with the Junior Achievement Americas team to close the reports and results of the event coverage.
4. Winner selection process
  • Videos will be evaluated by a jury from the Junior Achievement Americas communications team.
  • Criteria: quality, appeal, creativity, resources used, fluency in English, and potential to collaborate with the Company of the Year 2026 communications team.
  • Finalists with the best scores may be invited to a short virtual interview.
5. Winner announcement and prize
  • The winner will be announced on October 9, 2026, through Junior Achievement Americas' social media channels.
  • The prize includes a trip to Quito, Ecuador (November 22–25, 2026), covering:
    • Round-trip airfare.
    • Ground transportation in Ecuador.
    • Hotel accommodations (shared with another participant).
    • All-inclusive meals during the event.
6. General terms
  • By participating, entrants grant Junior Achievement Americas the right to use the content they post during the contest for promotional purposes and in future promotions and communications of the organization.
  • Junior Achievement Americas reserves the right to disqualify any participant who fails to meet the requirements or violates the rules.
7. Liability
  • Junior Achievement Americas is not responsible for any issues related to travel documentation (such as passport or visa) or any other circumstances that may prevent the winner from traveling.
  • The selected Content Creator is responsible for obtaining and covering the cost of their own health insurance for the trip.

Where is the content published?

All content is posted on the official Junior Achievement Americas accounts, not on personal profiles.

Who owns the content?

Junior Achievement Americas retains the promotional rights to the content created during the program.

Do I need a passport and visa?

Yes. A valid passport and any required visa are your responsibility. Junior Achievement Americas is not responsible for travel document issues.

Can I be disqualified?

Yes. Non-compliance with the requirements may lead to disqualification at any stage of the process.
